About me
When I was 7 years old I was coding games using BASIC in a Texas Instruments computer, and later in a Commodore 128. My masterpiece was a Spiderman game where he was climbing a building and being thrown things at that he needed to evade. When I’ve got my first Intel PC with an amazing 40 MB hard drive, and installed my first game on it, the letters on the screen started to fall… it was the computer virus Cascade. Luckily, the good old Dr. Solomon helped me to clean that, and that’s how my journey in Cybersecurity started.
My early career was as a developer in multiple programming languages, and as a Cybersecurity consultant, able to reverse engineer malware. My first website, Virus Attack!, was one of the first three internet pages ever in spanish about Cybersecurity and computer viruses.
Fast-forward a couple of years, and I’ve became a Cybersecurity executive with a career spanning 20 years, at both regional and global level. I developed the latinamerican region for ESET between 2004 and 2010, and then was part of their global management between 2011 and 2023, where I was first Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, and then Chief Business Officer.
If you want to know more about me, check my Linkedin profile, and if you want to have a chat about some idea you have, I’d be more than happy to hear about it. You can check my calendar availability here.
